I put a new download out there to fix a problem I found with the settings page tonight.

So after my blog post late last night I got back to work on DnnCart again. I actually got just about everything I wanted to do for a release done. Now all I have left is to clean up some code and make sure to get all my copyrights squared away before packaging up for download. I hope to have something together this afternoon.

Well, I didn't get as far as I had hoped tonight, quite a few things jumped up on me this evening, BUT, I did get work done on DnnCart!

What I have left before the first release is to get the SQL Stored Procedures created and wire them up to the SqlDataProvider. I have the initial Products table created, as well as the AddProducts stored proc. I'll be getting the Update, Delete, GetProduct, and GetProducts functionality done tomorrow and put all of that out in my release.

I may stay up for a bit longer tonight and crank through some of that, though I know I will pay for it tomorrow!

After farting around with Windows Vista the past two days, and getting VS 2005 and SQL Server Tools installed on this machine I've finally started on Development for the new DnnCart.

This is a complete ground up rewrite, and will actually be a new approach for me for the development process. I hope to get to the point where I'm posting a new build daily, or at least as often as I can get to working on the module, hopefully an hour or two each night.

Tomorrow is planned tol be my first build, 9/26/2006. In that build you'll have the ability to add/update a Product. In that build a Product will consist of only a few attributes, but I'll be adding new attributes over time. So, expect this tomorrow night.

It won't be an installable module, but you will be able to add it to your own 4.3.5 development solution and start playing with it.

Like I said, this won't...

I'm thinking that DnnCart may be revived from the ashes it currently resides in. I'll see how things go in the next week. I'll be working on the DotNetNuke Wiki module for the Core Projects, if I can get some of that work offloaded to other developers I'll tackle getting DnnCart up and rolling again!
